About the Role A leading International Academy is looking for a dedicated and experienced Cambridge Year 2 Class Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the Cambridge Primary Curriculum and a passion for delivering high quality, learner-centred education.
Key Responsibilities ● Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the Cambridge Primary Curriculum. ● Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that supports learners' academic and personal growth. ● Assess learners' progress and maintain accurate academic records. ● Prepare lesson plans, schemes of work, and learner progress reports. ● Implement effective classroom management strategies. ● Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of learners. ● Maintain regular communication with parents regarding learners' progress. ● Participate in school activities, meetings, and professional development programmes. ● Uphold the school's policies, values, and safeguarding standards.
Qualifications ● P1 Certificate. ● Bachelor's Degree in Education (Primary Option).
Experience ● Minimum of 7 years' teaching experience in a Cambridge Primary School. ● Experience teaching Cambridge Primary Year 2. ● Sound knowledge and practical experience of the Cambridge Primary Curriculum.
Skills and Competencies ● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. ● Strong classroom management abilities. ● Passion for teaching and child development. ● Strong organizational and planning skills. ● Ability to integrate technology into teaching and learning. ● Team player with a high level of professionalism and integrity.
