About the Role
We are seeking an Operations Manager in the healthcare sector, responsible for overseeing the daily operations and ensuring the efficient functioning of healthcare services. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement operational strategies that align with organizational goals and improve service delivery.
- Monitor and support various healthcare services to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and best practices.
- Collaborate with clinical teams to identify areas for improvement and efficiency enhancements in patient care processes.
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation to ensure optimal utilization of healthcare resources.
- Train, mentor, and supervise operations staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
- Coordinate with other departments to support patient flow and address operational challenges effectively.
- Analyze operational data and reports to identify trends and recommend actions to management for critical decision-making.
- Ensure a safe and healthy working environment in alignment with health and safety regulations.
Requirements
- Proven track record in managing operations within the healthcare sector or a related field.
- Strong understanding of healthcare regulations, policies, and accreditation standards.
- Demonstrable experience in performance management, process improvement, and quality assurance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Proficiency in project management principles and tools, with a focus on healthcare best practices.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field; a master’s degree is an advantage.
- Experience with healthcare information systems and electronic medical records management.
- Certification in healthcare management or operations (e.g., CHC, CPHQ) is preferred.
- Familiarity with financial management and healthcare economics.
