Professional Architect Designer – Engineering Company (Pretoria)Send your CV to .za010 or (WhatsApp) Duties & ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with engineers, project managers, and clients to develop architectural designs that align with technical, structural, and functional requirements.Prepare conceptual designs, layouts, and 3D visualizations using CAD and BIM software.Develop detailed architectural drawings, plans, elevations, and construction documents.Ensure compliance with building regulations, municipal bylaws, health & safety standards, and industry codes.Work closely with structural, civil, and mechanical engineers to integrate architectural and engineering solutions.Participate in design review meetings, presenting ideas and responding to client/management feedback.Support tender and project proposal documentation by providing architectural inputs.Conduct site visits to verify construction progress, ensure design adherence, and resolve design-related queries.Assist with material selection, finishes, and design specifications.Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and suppliers during design and construction phases.Contribute to sustainable and cost-effective design solutions.Maintain project records, revisions, and drawing registers.Keep up to date with latest architectural trends, software tools, and building technologies.Qualifications & RequirementsBachelor’s Degree or National Diploma in Architecture, Architectural Technology, or Architectural Design (professional registration with SACAP advantageous).Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in architectural design, preferably within an engineering, construction, or infrastructure environment.Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, ArchiCAD, SketchUp, and rendering software (Lumion/3ds Max advantageous).Strong technical knowledge of building codes, construction methods, and municipal submission processes.Ability to read and integrate structural, civ...
