Supply Chain Manager - Kinshasa

Job Description

Congo Digital Connect is looking for an experienced Supply Chain Manager to oversee the sourcing, procurement, and distribution of network equipment, hardware, and technical materials that support our digital connectivity operations. This role ensures the timely and cost-effective flow of critical infrastructure components, from supplier sourcing through to deployment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and manage supply chain processes for procurement of network equipment, IT hardware, and technical materials
• Oversee inventory management and warehousing to ensure equipment availability for installation and deployment schedules
• Manage relationships with equipment manufacturers, suppliers, and freight/customs partners, negotiating contracts and service levels
• Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify inefficiencies and drive cost savings
• Coordinate demand planning and forecasting to align inventory and procurement with network rollout and expansion plans
• Ensure timely importation and customs clearance of technical equipment, complying with relevant regulations
• Collaborate cross-functionally with network operations, technical, and finance teams to align supply chain activities with business needs
• Manage and develop a team of procurement and logistics staff
• Implement risk management strategies to avoid delays or disruptions in equipment supply
• Drive adoption of inventory and procurement systems to improve visibility and efficiency
• Prepare regular reports on supply chain performance for senior management
