Junior PLC Programmer

Our client, a well-established company in the Automation Industry, is seeking a motivated and technically skilled Junior PLC Programmer to join their growing team

Minimum Requirements:

• National Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation, or a related field
• 3years' PLC programming experience
• Good knowledge of Siemens PLCs (S7, TIA Portal, WinCC)
• Understanding of industrial automation and control systems
• Experience with HMI and SCADA systems will be advantageous
• Valid passport
• Willing and able to travel extensively throughout Africa
• Valid driver's license
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and control system documentation
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work within a team

Duties:

• Assist with PLC and HMI programming and development
• Commissioning and troubleshooting of automation systems
• Support senior engineers during project implementation
• Perform site visits, installations, and system upgrades
• Provide technical support to clients
• Ensure projects are completed according to specifications and deadlines
