    Introduction

    We are seeking a highly skilled and results-driven Business Optimisation Specialist to join our team. This senior role is critical in driving operational excellence, strengthening compliance, and enhancing service delivery across our test centre network.

    The successful candidate will play a key role in identifying and implementing process improvements, while also driving innovation through the introduction of new services and revenue opportunities within the test centre environment.

    Role Purpose

    The Business Optimisation Specialist is responsible for identifying, developing, and implementing operational improvements to enhance efficiency, compliance, customer experience, and cost effectiveness.

    The role further includes proactively identifying and evaluating new business opportunities and service offerings that can be integrated into test centres to optimise asset utilisation and increase revenue.

    Key Responsibilities

    Operational Excellence & Process Improvement

    • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to streamline workflows and increase throughput
    • Identify and eliminate operational waste and inefficiencies
    • Develop, standardise, and maintain SOPs and process controls
    • Apply structured improvement methodologies (Lean, root cause analysis, etc.)

    Test Centre Process Optimisation

    • Analyse and optimise end-to-end test centre processes (customer flow, inspections, reporting, quality checks)
    • Act as a subject matter expert on test centre operations
    • Ensure alignment with compliance standards and audit requirements

    Compliance & Governance

    • Strengthen controls and governance in partnership with Compliance
    • Identify and close control gaps to ensure process integrity and audit readiness
    • Support audit preparation and continuous compliance improvement

    Data & Performance Management

    • Define and track KPIs to measure improvement impact
    • Analyse operational data to identify trends and inefficiencies
    • Develop dashboards and management reports

    Change Management & Stakeholder Engagement

    • Facilitate workshops and training sessions
    • Drive adoption of new processes and ways of working
    • Build a culture of continuous improvement and accountability

    Project Management

    • Lead improvement projects end-to-end (from design to implementation and sustainability)
    • Prioritise initiatives based on business impact and risk
    • Report progress to key stakeholders

    Service Innovation & New Business Development

    • Identify and assess new services and revenue opportunities
    • Develop business cases and feasibility studies
    • Pilot and implement new service offerings
    • Monitor performance and ROI of implemented initiatives
    • Benchmark industry trends and identify emerging opportunities
