Responsibilities:

Drive business development by identifying, pursuing, and closing new client opportunities.
Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate organizations, government agencies, and institutional partners.
Develop and implement integrated marketing strategies across digital and offline platforms.
Lead proposal development, contract negotiations, and bid submissions.
Track, analyse, and report on sales and marketing performance metrics to measure Return On Investment.
Collaborate with leadership on strategic initiatives, including market expansion, new service offerings, and cross-functional projects.
Ensure compliance with organizational policies, financial standards, and data privacy requirements.
Manage client contracts and negotiations to secure and sustain successful partnerships.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, or related field (master’s degree is an advantage).
Minimum of 5 years’ proven experience in marketing and business development, ideally within education, training, or capacity-building institutions.
Strong interpersonal, communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders.
Proficiency in digital marketing tools and techniques.
Demonstrated leadership experience, with the ability to effectively manage small teams.

Note:

The ideal candidate should possess a bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field, and must have a minimum of three (3) years’ experience within the training and career development sector.
The candidate should also demonstrate a proven track record of measurable revenue growth and successful client acquisition.
