Cashbook Controller| Auto Pedigree | Spartan

Job Description: Auto Pedigree is looking for a Cashbook controller to join its Head Office in Spartan, Kempton Park. This position is an ideal opportunity for a trustworthy, detail-oriented individual with strong financial administration skills. The role reports directly to the Financial Manager.
Position Overview: The purpose of this position is to process accurate cashbook payments, maintain cashbooks & fixed asset registers.

Minimum Experience:

• Knowledge of excel
  
• 2 years relevant Finance/Accounting experience desirable
  

Minimum Qualification:

• Grade 12

Minimum Requirements

• A code 08 unendorsed driver’s license and own transport
• Computer literate
  

Job Outputs:

• Ensure accurate documentation is received for the payout of cashbook items
• Ensure compliance with company policies as well as regulatory acts (VAT Act) before processing and payout of cashbook items
• Ensure accurate recording of the transaction in the accounting information system
• Daily reconciliation of cashbooks
• Maintaining fixed asset register
• General Ledger recons
• Daily receiving and dispatching of Skynet packages
• Attending to bank related enquiries such as fuel and petty cash cards
• Ad-hoc duties
