Job Description

The Regional General Manager is responsible for leading and managing franchising operations within the assigned region to drive sustainable business growth. The role ensures compliance with franchise standards, optimises dealer performance, strengthens franchisee relationships and supports network expansion while maintaining Kia’s brand integrity.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Franchise Management & Growth

  • Lead franchise recruitment, onboarding, and development initiatives
  • Identify expansion opportunities and support dealer network growth
  • Drive regional business development strategies

Dealer Performance & Operations

  • Monitor and evaluate franchisee performance against KPIs
  • Implement performance improvement plans to optimise profitability
  • Ensure alignment with Kia Importer Multi Franchise operational standards

Compliance & Governance

  • Conduct franchise compliance audits and ensure adherence to brand standards
  • Ensure alignment with franchise agreements, policies, and regulatory requirements
  • Mitigate risks through governance and control processes

Stakeholder & Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with franchisees and key stakeholders
  • Resolve conflicts and escalate issues where required
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Finance, and Operations

Strategic Planning & Reporting

  • Conduct market analysis and identify trends and opportunities
  • Provide regional performance reports and insights
  • Contribute to strategic planning and decision-making

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business management or related field
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in franchising, retail, or dealer network management
  • Proven track record in franchise operations and performance management
  • Strong knowledge of franchise business models and processes

Advantageous

  • Knowledge of franchise legislation and compliance frameworks
  • Experience in the automotive industry
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM systems
