Audit Director

Our client is seeking an accomplished Audit Director to provide strategic leadership within a well-established audit and assurance environment. This role presents an excellent opportunity for a driven professional to lead audit engagements, mentor high-performing teams, and contribute to the continued growth of the practice.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee a portfolio of audit and assurance engagements
• Manage client relationships and act as a trusted advisor to key stakeholders
• Ensure audits are conducted in accordance with applicable standards and regulations
• Review audit plans, working papers, financial statements, and reports
• Provide technical guidance and support to audit teams
• Drive quality control and risk management initiatives across engagements
• Identify business development opportunities and support client retention efforts
• Mentor, develop, and manage audit managers and professional staff

Requirements

• CA(SA) qualification
• Registered Auditor status advantageous
• Extensive external audit experience within a professional services environment
• Strong knowledge of auditing standards, financial reporting frameworks, and regulatory requirements
• Proven leadership and people management experience
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Strong commercial acumen and business development capabilities
