Minimum Qualifications:

· BSc, BEng or BTech in Civil or Structural Engineering

· Professionally Registered Engineer/Technologist with ECSA

Minimum Experience:

· 15years’ experience

· Software Proficiency: MS Office, AutoCAD & structural modelling software (e.g. Tekla, Prokon, Masterseries, Robot)

Preferential Abilities & Experience:

· Advanced Technical Design: Solid background in structural analysis, modeling, and hand calculations, ensuring code-compliant and constructible designs across diverse materials and building types.

· Site Oversight: Proven ability to lead site inspections, assess workmanship quality, and issue authoritative site instructions.

· Project Lifecycle Management: Demonstrated capacity to manage projects independently from concept to completion with minimal supervision.

· Leadership & Mentorship: Experienced in guiding and developing junior engineers and technical staff.

· Interdisciplinary Integration: Ability to seamlessly coordinate structural design elements with architectural and various engineering disciplines.

· Professional Communication: Strong client-facing interpersonal skills and effective negotiation abilities.

· Operational Efficiency: Excellent time management skills with a proven track record of managing multiple concurrent projects without compromising quality standards.
