Safety Officer

We are looking for a qualified and experienced Safety Officer to monitor workplace activities and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting a safe working environment, conducting inspections, identifying hazards, and implementing corrective actions.

• Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments
• Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations
• Investigate incidents and accidents and compile reports
• Implement and maintain safety policies and procedures
• Conduct toolbox talks and safety training
• Monitor use of PPE and enforce safety standards
• Maintain safety records and documentation
• Assist with emergency preparedness and evacuation procedures
• Liaise with management and employees regarding safety matters
• Compile and maintain Safety files according to client & legal specs
