Financial Accountant

Our client, a Manufacturing Company based in Worcester, is looking for a Financial Accountant to join a dynamic and fast-paced financial team. This opportunity is ideal for a detail-oriented individual with solid experience, a strong personality, and the ability to perform under pressure while meeting tight deadlines.

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Manage general ledger transactions

- Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts

- Maintain and update the fixed asset register, including depreciation calculations

- Support budgeting and forecasting processes

- Reconcile and analyse accounts and expenditure

- Assist with audit preparations

- Support financial reporting and compliance requirements

- Collect and maintain import documentation for VAT filings

Minimum Requirements:

Education and Experience:

- Relevant accounting qualification is advantageous, not essential

- Minimum 3 years' financial accounting experience

- Manufacturing industry experience is advantageous

- Experience with Syspro will be advantageous

Knowledge and Skills:

- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy

- Advanced Excel skills

- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

- Strong personality with the ability to perform under pressure

Salary: Market-related, based on experience
