EdoMatch is a West Africa-focused HR tech and recruitment company. Alongside our full HR platform — payroll, contracts, compliance, onboarding, and workforce management — we run a premium Executive Search practice that places senior, leadership, and hard-to-fill talent for companies operating across Ghana, Côte d'Ivoire, Togo, Benin, the Netherlands, and beyond.
We're a fast-moving, founder-led team with a product clients love, real traction in the market, and a brand that opens doors. We're now expanding our search capacity in Ghana.
The Role
As a Recruitment Consultant, you run your own executive search desk under the EdoMatch brand. This is a true 360 role: you generate your own leads, win your own mandates, and deliver the search yourself — from kick-off to placement. You own both the client side and the candidate side, end to end.
Executive Search is your core business. You hunt for senior and executive mandates, sign them, and fill them. Where it makes sense, you can also introduce and upsell the wider EdoMatch product suite to your clients — and earn on that too — but executive search is the heart of the role.
What You'll Do
Win the business (your own deals)
- Prospect independently and win your own executive search mandates — outreach, referrals, events, and your existing network.
- Build relationships with CEOs, founders, boards, and HR directors who hire senior talent.
- Scope the role, negotiate fees and terms, and sign the search agreement.
- Optional: introduce and upsell other EdoMatch products (HR Suite, ATS, Payroll, Mass Recruitment, Data) where there's a fit — and earn additional commission.
Deliver the search (your own recruitment)
- Run the full search cycle: role intake, market mapping, direct headhunting, longlist → shortlist.
- Source and approach senior and executive candidates directly.
- Interview, assess, and present qualified shortlists to your clients.
- Manage the process through interviews, offer, acceptance, and placement.
- Provide guarantee/aftercare in line with your agreement, and keep the relationship warm for repeat mandates.
Run your desk
- Maintain your pipeline and forecast in the EdoMatch CRM/ATS.
- Represent EdoMatch professionally with clients and candidates.
- Share market intel and feed it back into our commercial strategy.
What You Sell & Deliver
Executive Search (core) — EdoMatch's premium headhunting service for senior, leadership, and hard-to-fill roles. You sell the mandate and deliver the shortlist yourself. Search is also our natural wedge into longer-term client relationships.
The wider EdoMatch suite (optional upsell):
- HR Suite — full HR operations platform (KPIs, compliance, workforce analytics).
- ATS — AI-assisted applicant tracking for agencies and large employers.
- Mass Recruitment — large-scale hiring with integrated marketing campaigns.
- Payroll — multi-currency, automated local tax and social security deductions (PAYE & SSNIT), and payslips.
- Data Licensing — market and talent data products.
You're not just filling roles — you're giving clients a single, professional partner for senior talent and the systems that support it.
Compensation
- Benchmark salary (market reference): aligned with medior/senior recruitment consultant rates in Accra. As an indication, the market for this level of professional/cadre profile sits around GHS 5,000–10,000 per month (indicative, to be confirmed based on profile and experience).
- 5% bonus on all deals: you earn a 5% bonus on the collected value of every deal you sign — whether it's an executive search placement or an EdoMatch product you sell or upsell.
- Uncapped: your earnings scale directly with the volume and value of the deals you close and collect.
- Tools provided: Laptop, phone allowance, petrol, EdoMatch CRM, ATS, candidate database, brand, and marketing support.
- Autonomy: you manage your own time, pipeline, and territory.
What We're Looking For (Medior–Senior)
- 4+ years in recruitment, executive search, or headhunting (medior to senior), with a proven billing / successful-placement track record.
- A genuine 360 recruiter: you can win the business and deliver the search yourself, with no hand-holding.
- A strong existing network in your market and the ability to open doors at C-suite / board level.
- Comfortable managing both demanding clients and senior candidates through a full process.
- Entrepreneurial mindset — disciplined, autonomous, and fully accountable for your own numbers.
- Languages: fluent English (French an advantage for cross-border West Africa mandates).
- Based in Accra, with a strong local business network.
Contract Details
- Type: Consultant role (employed / independent terms to be defined based on profile)
- Level: Medior / Senior
- Probation: 6 months (to be confirmed)
- Notice period: 1 month (to be confirmed)
- Territory: Primary focus on Ghana (territory evaluations open after Year 1)
- Tools: EdoMatch CRM, ATS, candidate database, and brand provided
- Governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana (Labour Act, 2003 — Act 651)
- Non-solicitation & non-circumvention: applies to EdoMatch clients and candidates for the duration of the agreement and 12 months thereafter
