Tax Consultant

We have an amazing opportunity for a Tax Consultantat a audit and accounting firm based in Cape Town!

The main purpose of this role is:

- To manage a diverse client portfolio, handling end-to-end tax and payroll compliance on e-Filing. This includes preparing income and provisional tax returns, managing SARS audits/disputes, and providing research-backed technical advice on complex tax matters.

We require a candidate with:

· Experience: Minimum 2 years’ tax compliance experience within a professional services or accounting environment.

· Professional Registration: Registration as a SARS Tax Practitioner is highly advantageous.

· Technical Knowledge: Strong expertise across all tax types (Income Tax, VAT, PAYE, Dividends Tax, and CGT), including IT14SD verifications and VDP applications.

· Systems: Highly proficient in MS 365 (Excel, Word, Outlook) and SARS e-Filing. Knowledge of Profsoft is an advantage.

· Logistics: Own reliable transport and a valid South African driver's licence are preferred.
