Well-established engineering consultancy specializing in electrical power systems seeks to employ a Civil Design Engineer. Based in Bellville
For the position you would be required to have:
- B. Sc/ B. Eng in Civil Engineering
- Minimum 2years’ experience in civil design
- Experience in substation design (highly advantageous)
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Experience on Eskom or similar utility projects
- Knowledge of geotechnical and hydrology inputs
Responsibilities would include you to:
- Civil design for substations and related infrastructure (earthworks, drainage, roads, foundations)
- Develop layouts, grading plans, and stormwater designs
- Coordinate with electrical and structural disciplines
- Prepare drawings, BOQs, and technical reports
- Ensure designs comply with relevant codes and standards
