Junior Quantity Surveyor – Residential Developments (Paarl) A leading building contractor is seeking a motivated Junior Quantity Surveyor to join their team working on high-quality residential developments in the Paarl area.

Minimum Requirements:

• National Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying
• 2 – 5 years' relevant experience in the building construction industry
• Experience on residential developments will be advantageous
• Good understanding of construction contracts, procurement, and cost control
• Ability to measure and prepare bills of quantities
• Experience with subcontractor procurement and payment certificates
• Strong numerical and analytical skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a project team
• Valid driver's licence and own transport

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with project cost planning and budgeting
• Measurement and preparation of quantities
• Obtain and evaluate subcontractor quotations
• Assist with procurement of subcontractors and suppliers
• Prepare and process subcontractor payment certificates
• Monitor project costs and prepare cost reports
• Assist with variation orders and final accounts
• Liaise with site management, consultants, and subcontractors
• Ensure projects are delivered within approved budgets
