Senior Estimator

Our client is a reputable and growing main contractor delivering high-quality building projects across both the public and private sectors. Now, they are seeking a highly experienced Senior Estimator / Estimating Manager to lead and manage the estimating function. This role is critical in ensuring accurate, competitive, and strategic tender submissions, while mentoring and guiding the estimating team

Requirements:

• At least 10 years of experience in construction estimating with a main contractor
• Strong experience in both public and private sector tenders
• Professional registration with SACQSP
• Proficient in Buildsmart and CCS

Responsibilities:

· Lead and manage the full estimating function, including pre-contract and adjudication processes

· Prepare detailed cost estimates using first principles

· Oversee and review tender pricing for accuracy and competitiveness

· Manage and mentor the estimating team

· Analyse drawings, specifications, and contract documentation

· Ensure compliance with NEC and JBCC contractual requirements
