Responsibilities:
Location: Porthacourt
- Inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical and electrical faults in heavy-duty trucks
- Carry out routine servicing, including oil changes, brake checks, and tire maintenance
- Repair or replace engines, transmissions, and other major components
- Perform safety inspections to ensure vehicles meet regulatory standards
- Use diagnostic tools to identify and resolve issues efficiently
- Maintain accurate service and repair records
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies
- 3-5 years of experience
- Proven experience as a heavy-duty or diesel truck mechanic
- Strong understanding of diesel engines and truck systems
- Ability to use diagnostic equipment and tools
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Relevant technical certification is an advantage
