Wet Services and Fire Services Draughtsman

Duties & ResponsibilitiesPrepare detailed technical drawings for:Plumbing systemsWater reticulationSewer and drainage systemsStormwater systemsFire protection systemsSprinkler systemsFire hydrant layoutsHose reel systemsProduce coordinated construction and as-built drawings.Draft layouts, schematics, riser diagrams, and sectional details.Work closely with engineers, architects, and project managers to develop compliant designs.Ensure drawings comply with:SANS regulationsMunicipal bylawsFire safety regulationsBuilding codesAmend and revise drawings according to project requirements and engineer comments.Assist with tender documentation and project submissions.Coordinate wet services and fire services drawings with structural, electrical, and HVAC disciplines.Prepare material schedules and technical documentation.Conduct site measurements and site inspections when required.Ensure accurate drawing records and document control.Assist with municipal approval submissions.Support project teams during construction and installation phases.
