COMMERCIAL CONTRACT MANAGER (x2 Positions)
Locations: 1- Bedfordview, Johannesburg 2 - Mauritius (administering contracts sourced from international and South African service providers)

Our client, a leading engineering and construction solutions provider, is seeking two highly professional, mature, and relationship?driven Commercial Contract Managers. These roles are not traditional Project Manager positions — they are client?facing, commercially focused roles responsible for managing the full lifecycle of client engagement, from onboarding and negotiation through to implementation, retention, and contract expansion.
The ideal candidates will have strong commercial acumen, exceptional professionalism, and a proven track record of managing client relationships within engineering or construction project environments.
Key Responsibilities
Client Relationship & Contract Management
- Manage the full client lifecycle: onboarding, negotiation, implementation, and post?award relationship management
- Build and maintain strong, trust?based relationships with key client stakeholders
- Ensure client satisfaction, retention, and long?term partnership growth
- Identify opportunities for contract expansion and additional service offerings
- Act as the primary point of contact between the client and internal project/technical teams
- Ensure all contractual obligations are understood, monitored, and fulfilled
Commercial Oversight
- Lead commercial discussions, pricing considerations, and contract negotiations
- Review, interpret, and manage contract terms, risks, and deliverables
- Ensure compliance with commercial, legal, and ethical standards
- Monitor contract performance and ensure alignment with scope, timelines, and budgets
- Prepare commercial reports, client updates, and performance summaries
Operational Coordination
- Work closely with engineering, project, and operational teams to ensure seamless delivery
- Facilitate communication between internal departments and client representatives
- Support issue resolution, change management, and contract variations
- Maintain accurate documentation, records, and contract files
