Xpresso Café is looking for a dynamic and experienced Trainer to join our team. This role will be responsible for delivering high-quality training to new and existing staff, ensuring consistent service excellence, operational efficiency, and brand standards across all stores. The successful candidate will be based in Gauteng but will be required to travel to Cape Town for training and support initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct onboarding and induction training for new employees
• Deliver ongoing training on products, customer service, and operational procedures
• Ensure all staff are aligned with Xpresso Café brand standards
• Develop and update training materials and manuals
• Assess staff performance and identify training needs
• Provide coaching and mentorship to store teams and supervisors
• Support store openings and training rollouts in Cape Town and other regions
• Monitor training effectiveness and report on outcomes
• Maintain training records and compliance documentation
Requirements:
• Proven experience as a Trainer, preferably within the hospitality, retail, or food & beverage industry
• Strong knowledge of café/restaurant operations
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to engage and motivate diverse teams
• Willingness and ability to travel regularly between Gauteng and Cape Town
• Strong organizational and administrative skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Support store openings and training rollout in Gauteng and other regions.
• Must have a valid driver's license and own a reliable vehicle.
• Must be willing to travel in all areas in Gauteng.
Qualifications:
• Matric (essential)
• Relevant training or facilitation certification (advantageous)
• Hospitality-related qualification (advantageous)
