Car Recovery Manager

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and supervise all vehicle recovery and repossession activities.
  
• Monitor overdue and defaulting vehicle accounts for prompt action.
  
• Coordinate field recovery teams for safe and efficient asset retrieval.
  
• Ensure recovered vehicles are properly documented and secured.
  
• Monitor GPS tracking systems for financed vehicles.
  
• Investigate vehicle movement anomalies and suspicious activities.
  
• Collaborate with tracking vendors to disable or locate vehicles when necessary.
  
• Develop preventive measures to reduce vehicle loss and theft.
  
• Liaise with insurance companies on accident claims and recovery support.
  
• Work with legal and compliance teams during escalated recovery cases.
  
• Maintain professional communication with customers during recovery processes. 
  
• Supervise and evaluate recovery team performance.
  
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly recovery performance reports.
  
• Train and mentor recovery officers on operational procedures and negotiation techniques.
  
• Ensure all recovery activities comply with company policy and legal requirements.
  
• Maintain accurate records of recovery activities and asset status.
  
• Identify operational risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
  
• And any-other task as assigned by your supervisor and management

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a car leasing or hire purchase company
• Strong knowledge of Lagos routes and road network
• Experience in vehicle tracking, recovery operations, and asset protection
• Familiar with GPS tracking systems and recovery processes
• Experience working with car insurance companies
• Strong team leadership and negotiation skills
• Ability to work effectively under pressure

Location: Lagos, Ikeja

Work mode: Fully onsite (Monday - Saturday, 9am - 5pm)
