Job description
- Assisting with legal research.
- Reviewing and drafting legal documents.
- Attending court hearings, other legal proceedings, and client meetings.
- Corresponding with clients, external lawyers and officials of government institutions on behalf of the firm.
- Preparation of legal articles and other write-ups for publication.
- Supporting client meetings including managing diaries, correspondence and logistics.
- Assisting with administrative and office tasks.
- Maintaining strict confidentiality on all aspects of the firm’s work and communications.
Requirements
- A first class or upper second law degree or equivalent from a recognised institution.
- Qualification to practice law in Ghana and any other country.
- High academic achievement.
- Post-qualification experience in a similar role. • Computer proficiency (Microsoft Office suite).
- Highest level of integrity.
- Highly organised and detail oriented.
- Good research and writing skills.
- A sense of humour and able to work well in a team.
- Excellent oral and written communication in the English Language.
- Proficiency in a foreign language
