Electrical Engineer

Our client is seeking a dynamic Electrical Engineer to join their Electrical Engineering team in Cape Town. This role is ideal for a developing engineer eager to gain experience in intelligent transport systems and lighting design within multidisciplinary projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the design and implementation of electrical systems for infrastructure projects
• Support development of intelligent transportation systems (ITS) and lighting solutions
• Prepare technical documentation, reports, and design drawings
• Work closely within a multidisciplinary engineering team
• Participate in site inspections and project coordination activities

Requirements:

• BEng or BTech in Electrical or Electronic Engineering
• 3 years’ experience in electrical or electronic engineering preferred (not mandatory)
• Strong academic foundation in electrical engineering principles
• Interest in infrastructure, ITS, and lighting systems
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented project environment
