Industrial Refrigeration Technician

Responsibilities:

• System Maintenance: Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on industrial compressors, cooling towers, evaporators, and condensers.
• Ammonia Safety: Safely monitor, test, and repair high-hazard anhydrous ammonia refrigeration systems in strict compliance with safety protocols.
• Troubleshooting & Repair: Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults quickly to minimize plant downtime; repair or replace pumps, valves, and motors.
• Compliance & Documentation: Maintain accurate daily logs of system operations, refrigerant tracking, safety checks, and regulatory compliance paperwork.
• Emergency Response: Participate in the on-call rotation to handle urgent system failures or hazardous leak responses.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of an accredited HVAC-R trade school program or registered apprenticeship is preferred.
• Minimum of 3–5 years of hands-on experience working with industrial refrigeration or heavy commercial systems.
• Proficient in reading complex electrical schematics, industrial piping diagrams, and mechanical blueprints.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, work at heights, and perform duties in both extremely cold (freezers) and hot environments.

Location: Ogba, Lagos

Remuneration: NGN180,000 - 200,000 Monthly (Depending on experience)
