A well-established national healthcare and pharmaceutical services organization focused on delivering innovative pharmacy and healthcare solutions across South Africa, is currently seeking a Senior BI Project Coordinator to join its team in Umhlanga.
This role is ideal for an experienced project coordination professional with a strong background in Business Intelligence (BI), initiatives, stakeholder engagement, and cross-functional project delivery. The successful candidate will play a key role in coordinating BI projects, ensuring timelines are met, resources are effectively managed, and business objectives are achieved.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and oversee Business Intelligence projects from initiation through completion.
- Monitor project timelines, milestones, budgets, and deliverables.
- Collaborate with BI analysts, developers, business stakeholders, and management teams.
- Facilitate project meetings and provide regular progress reports.
- Track project risks, issues, and dependencies, ensuring timely resolution.
- Assist with resource planning and project scheduling.
- Ensure compliance with organizational project management standards and methodologies.
- Support data reporting, dashboard implementation, and analytics initiatives.
- Maintain project documentation and governance records.
- Drive continuous improvement within BI project processes.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Information Systems, Business Management, Project Management, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum 4–6 years' experience in project coordination or project management.
- Experience working within Business Intelligence, data analytics, reporting, or related environments.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies and best practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience with project management tools and reporting platforms.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and organizational skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Project Management certification will be advantageous.
