Job advertisement: Sales and marketing manager / acting general manager Position details Position: Sales and Marketing Manager / Acting General Manager Institution: Institute of Environment, Climate and Development Sustainability (IECDS) Role overview The Sales and Marketing Manager will lead the Institute’s marketing, student recruitment, business development, branding, and partnership activities. The officer will also act as General Manager, oversee day-to-day operations, and support the achievement of institutional enrolment, revenue, and growth targets. Key responsibilities Develop and implement marketing, student recruitment, and sales strategies. Promote IECDS academic, professional training, consultancy, and research services. Manage digital marketing, institutional branding, outreach, exhibitions, and promotional activities. Build partnerships with schools, companies, government institutions, NGOs, and other stakeholders. Identify new business opportunities and revenue-generating initiatives. Monitor enrolment, sales, marketing performance, and institutional growth targets. Supervise relevant staff and coordinate daily institutional operations while acting as General Manager. Prepare periodic management and performance reports. Qualifications and experience Applicants should possess: At least a bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, Management, Education Management, or a related field. Not less than five (5) years of relevant experience. Mandatory requirement Applicants must have proven experience in marketing an educational institution, including: Student recruitment.
