Senior Analyst (Geopolitics/Part-time/Remote)

We are seeking a part-time, remote Regional Governance Research Analyst focusing on Africa's governance structures, regulatory environment, political dynamics, and the impact of the energy and minerals sector on regional stability and market conditions. A background in public policy, international relations, or political risk is required, along with hands-on research experience and the ability to deliver high-quality strategic insights.

Main Responsibilities

• Conduct policy research and risk assessments in relevant areas based on business needs, and draft investment recommendations and risk alert reports.
• Liaise with relevant government departments according to the company's business development needs, and establish and maintain government relations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or above, preferably in international relations, geopolitics, or related fields.
• Background in government, defense, think tanks, academia, or international organizations is preferred.
• Excellent research and analytical skills, with experience in drafting high-quality research reports or policy briefs.
• Possess a reliable network or channels for information gathering.
