Accountant CA(SA) MFMA (Limpopo)

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accountant who is a Chartered Accountant (SA) with experience in the Municipal Finance Management Act (MFMA) to join our team. The successful candidate will have at least 5 years of management experience in a similar role.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage financial accounting and reporting activities in compliance with MFMA regulations
- Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements and reports
- Develop and implement financial controls and procedures to safeguard the organization's assets
- Manage budgeting and forecasting processes
- Provide financial analysis and recommendations to senior management
- Coordinate and liaise with external auditors and regulatory authorities
- Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals
Requirements:
- Chartered Accountant (SA) qualification
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the public sector
- Strong knowledge and understanding of the MFMA
- Excellent financial reporting and analysis skills
- Ability to lead and manage a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
- At least 5 years of management experience in a similar role
