General Worker - Beacon Bay

Nurture Health is seeking a dependable and service-oriented General Worker to join our rehabilitation hospital team. Reporting to the Nursing Manager, you will help maintain a safe, functional, and supportive environment that enables excellent patient care and rehabilitation outcomes. This role combines general maintenance support, operational assistance, and collaboration with the wider hospital team.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute general maintenance and support duties in accordance with Nurture policies, processes, and systems while maintaining a safe hospital environment.
• Provide driving and operational support as required, report on daily activities and outcomes, and represent the hospital professionally when needed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and stakeholders, share relevant information, and actively participate in learning and development activities.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a healthcare environment as a general worker, porter, cleaner, security guard, or similar role, with a valid professional driving permit.
• Practical problem-solving ability, strong accountability, teamwork orientation, and the ability to plan and execute daily activities independently.
• Commitment to the SAFMA Code of Conduct, professional behaviour, and continuous learning within rehabilitation and healthcare environments.
