Hazmat Supervisor – Mossel Bay

We are currently seeking an experienced Hazmat Supervisor to be based in Mossel Bay. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising hazardous-material handling activities linked to a dam treatment project, ensuring that all work is carried out safely and efficiently, and in full compliance with site procedures and applicable environmental regulations.

• Supervise and coordinate teams working with hazardous materials on-site.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and Hazmat procedures.
• Monitor and oversee the operation of pumps and related equipment used in the treatment process.

• Ensure correct use of PPE and adherence to safe work practices.

• Report incidents, hazards, and non-conformances and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate records and site documentation.
• Liaise with site management, contractors, and project stakeholders.
• Support emergency response activities where required.
