Poste proposé : Project Engineer – Electromechanical-(HSFO/LSFO Power Stations) - Ouagadougou

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer with strong experience in Fuel Oil power generation, specifically in HSFO and LSFO power stations (Mazut and Diesel-based systems). The candidate will be responsible for supporting and managing project execution, ensuring efficient, safe, and high-quality delivery of power plant projects in Burkina Faso.
Key Responsibilities:

• Support and manage the execution of power plant projects, particularly HSFO and LSFO fuel-based systems.
• Supervise installation, commissioning, and operation of electromechanical systems in power stations.
• Ensure proper handling, operation, and maintenance of Mazut (Heavy Fuel Oil) and Diesel systems.
• Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and technical teams to ensure project milestones are achieved.
• Monitor project progress, quality standards, and compliance with safety regulations.
• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to fuel systems and power generation equipment.
• Prepare technical reports and support project documentation.
• Ensure adherence to local regulations and industry standards in Burkina Faso.
• Contribute to operational readiness and smooth transition from construction to operation phase.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electromechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 5–8 years of experience in power generation projects.
• Strong hands-on experience with HSFO and LSFO power stations (Mazut/Diesel systems).
• Previous experience in power plant construction, commissioning, or operations is highly preferred.
• Good understanding of the Burkina Faso market or similar environments is an advantage.
• Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced project environment. 

Language Requirements:

• Fluent in English and French (mandatory).
• Arabic language is an added advantage
