Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Officer to promote and market the company’s IT solutions and services. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, promoting IT products and services, managing client relationships, and supporting business growth through marketing and sales activities.
Key Responsibilities The Business Development Officer – IT Solutions will be responsible for:
  • Marketing the company’s IT products and services, including:
o Network solutions o Cybersecurity solutions o Cloud solutions o Software solutions o IT support services o Hardware and infrastructure solutions
  • Identifying and developing new business opportunities
  • Meeting potential clients and presenting IT solutions
  • Preparing and delivering product presentations and proposals
  • Responding to client inquiries and preparing quotations
  • Managing and maintaining customer relationships
  • Working with technical teams to design solutions for clients
  • Conducting market research and identifying new markets
  • Participating in marketing campaigns, events, and exhibitions
  • Preparing weekly and monthly sales and marketing reports
  • Maintaining a customer database and sales pipeline
  • Achieving sales and marketing targets


Qualifications and Experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, Marketing, or related field
  • Certification in Sales or Marketing is an added advantage
  • Minimum 3 -5 years’ experience in IT solutions sales or marketing
  • Experience in selling IT products or services is highly preferred

  • Number of new clients acquired per month

  • Number of proposals submitted
  • Customer retention rate
  • Marketing campaigns executed
  • Leads generated per month
