House painter

We are seeking a skilled and experienced House Painter to join our team in Lisbon. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of painting techniques, surface preparation, and finishing, ensuring high-quality results for residential and commercial projects.

Responsibilities

1. Prepare surfaces for painting, including sanding, filling, priming, and cleaning.
2. Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
3. Mix and match paints to achieve the desired color and consistency.
4. Protect furniture, floors, and fixtures during painting projects.
5. Inspect painted surfaces to ensure quality and durability.
6. Perform minor plastering and repair work when needed.
7. Maintain tools, equipment, and a safe working environment.
8. Work independently or as part of a team to complete projects on time.

Requirements

1. Minimum 3–5 years of proven experience as a house painter.
2. Strong knowledge of surface preparation and different painting techniques.
3. Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
4. Ability to work with different finishes and textures.
5. Basic knowledge of health and safety regulations.
6. Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
7. Portuguese or English language skills required (basic conversational level acceptable).

Preferred

1. Experience with decorative painting techniques or special finishes.
2. Knowledge of eco-friendly paints and materials.
3. Valid driver’s license and own transportation.

Location & Conditions

1. Location: Lisbon, Portugal
2. Type of Employment: Full-time, contract or permanent
3. Schedule: Monday to Friday, occasional weekends depending on projects
