Job Description: The B2B Sales Expert will be responsible for driving sales and business development efforts for our wide portfolio of industrial chemicals. This includes identifying new business opportunities and building relationships across diverse sectors such as petrochemicals, mining, energy, automotive, food & beverage, and more. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record in B2B sales of industrial chemicals, with a strong understanding of several industrial sectors. Experience selling to neighboring countries in West Africa is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to promote our industrial chemical products across various industries, including but not limited to:

·        Paints & Inks

·        Petrochemicals & Mining & Energy

·        Cement & Construction

·        Automotive & Food & Beverage

·        Water Treatment & Packaging

·        Textiles & Metals

·        Pharmaceuticals & Agri-commodities Processing

·        Soap, Detergents, Personal & Home Care, Cosmetics, and more.

Target and acquire new B2B customers in Ivory Coast and potentially in neighboring countries, ensuring continuous growth in these markets.

Build and nurture strong, long-term relationships with clients, ensuring repeat business and customer satisfaction.

Provide technical advice, support, and training to customers on the effective use of chemical products and applications.

Lead negotiations, deliver compelling sales presentations, and close deals to achieve sales targets and business objectives.

Collaborate with internal teams (technical, logistics, and marketing) to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction.

Stay informed on market trends, competitor activities, and new product developments to maintain a competitive edge.

Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to expand network opportunities and market presence.

Report on sales performance, customer feedback, and market conditions to senior management on a regular basis.

Key Requirements:

Experience: 5+ Years of Proven experience in B2B sales of industrial chemicals, with a strong understanding of the sales process and customer relationship management across multiple industries such as mining & energy, construction, food & beverage, soap & detergents, pharmaceuticals, and others. Experience in at least a few of these sectors is essential.

Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of the applications of industrial chemicals in diverse industries, with the ability to communicate complex technical information effectively to customers.

Market Knowledge: Experience selling to clients in Ivory Coast and ideally in neighboring West African countries.

Sales Skills: Demonstrated ability to develop sales strategies, build relationships, and close deals effectively. Strong negotiation and presentation skills are required. Strong business acumen and ability to understand the unique needs of various sectors and tailor solutions accordingly.

Self-motivated: Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and thrive in a target-driven sales environment.

Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in French (English or other local languages is an advantage).

Adaptability: Ability to adapt and learn quickly about new chemical products and market segments.

Travel: Willingness to travel frequently across Ivory Coast and neighboring countries to meet clients and explore new markets.
