Junior Exploration Geologist

We are looking for a Junior Exploration Geologist.
Responsibilities :
Core and chips Logging

• Review blanks/standards/duplicates to confirm assay quality

• Deliver complete, accurate geological datasets including sampling, assays, logs, orientations, suitable for building geological models, presentations, and reports

• Enter and validate data (dispatch logs, geological logs, drilling data, assay results), including full QA/QC checks

• Data collection from drill core and RC chips, with proper labeling.

Exploration

• Design diamond and RC drill holes and issue clear, accurate drill design sheets.

• Manage active drill holes to ensure they track the planned design (depth, azimuth, dip)

• Participate in greenfield exploration, including drill-rig supervision and daily liaison with contractors

• Compile and curate exploration datasets, including relevant QA/QC information

• Prepare concise internal and external reports

• Support geological projects by conducting geological mapping, geochemical sampling, and assisting with geophysical programs as directed by the Manager of Exploration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Geology (minimum); advanced degree an asset

• 5years’ Post-Graduate experience (preferred)

• Proven field experience, including work in brownfield environments (advantageous)

• Experience supervising drill rigs and logging diamond/RC drilling (advantageous)

• Strong technical geology skills

• Solid mapping and Interpretation skills

• Strong computer skills and digital literacy (e.g., GIS, data management, MS Office/Google Workspace).
