Responsible for repairing diesel engines and all the components that help to make the engines operate efficiently.
Conduct Root Cause Failure Analysis inspections to determine cause of failure on components.
Execute various diagnostic tests and inspections to identify component and machine defects.
Correct vehicle (Defects) by removing, repairing, adjusting, overhauling, assembling, disassembling, and replacing impaired parts according to OEM and company procedure.
Troubleshoot, identify and repair hydraulic and mechanical defects/breakdowns.
Conduct primary maintenance according to OEM and company procedures.
Ensure oil samples are filled in correctly and submitted to planning department after service has been completed.
Ensure the continuous upkeep of preventive maintenance schedules.
Ensure strict adherence to PPE, and occupational safety policies and procedures of the company.
Collect work orders daily and complete job cards for every completed task.
Perform thorough oil sampling, ensuring samples are taken correctly, labelled, and submitted to the planning department for analysis
