The AMR Dialogue Series is a youth-led advocacy platform aiming to address the global challenge of Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR). It brings together pharmacy students, early career pharmacists, and public health officials to discuss practical strategies in combating AMR. This initiative provides a collaborative space to share knowledge, foster innovation, and inspire meaningful change, one conversation at a time.
Role Description
This Volunteer role involves supporting the planning, coordination, and execution of events and discussions within the AMR Dialogue Series. Day-to-day tasks include event organization, coordinating with stakeholders, managing communication channels, and assisting in advocacy campaigns. This is an on-site role, based in Accra, requiring a proactive and collaborative individual to contribute to the team’s mission.
Qualifications
- Strong communication skills, including written, verbal, and interpersonal abilities
- Organizational and time management skills for event coordination and task execution
- Knowledge of or interest in healthcare, public health, and advocacy, particularly in relation to AMR
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders
- Creativity and problem-solving skills when designing and implementing advocacy strategies
- Proficiency in tools such as Microsoft Office, email, and social media platforms
- Experience in community engagement or volunteer activities is a plus
- Passion for contributing to meaningful social change
