SALES REP (Mnfrs. of Agricultural packaging)-Need 3 yrs. on-the-road "solution-type selling exp.

ABILITY TO COMMUNICATE EFFECTIVELY IN AFRIKAANS.

OVERVIEW - This opportunity is for a sales representative with about three years success in on-the-road "solution-type selling", from agricultural or related industry would be a big plus. This division within a respected group focuses on a sustainable, paper-based packaging range for fresh produce.

You would need to be very independent and be prepared for a fair amount of travel in this regional role - Gauteng, Limpopo and Mpumalanga. Whilst working remotely your residential location should allow for comfortable travel to attend office meetings at least twice per month (office is based 50 kms. / east from Johannesburg CBD).

It is not a commission paid role and the package on offer is R30 000.00 gross per month company contributes 50% to medical aid & pension, 13th cheque fully maintained company vehicle.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES ARE, BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• New business and market development - Grow existing market segments and develop and enter /disrupt new markets and applications
• Local and international competitor analysis and product benchmarking
• Tracking and actively building and expanding the regional sales footprint
• Building, maintaining and managing excellent supplier relations
• Understanding customer requirements, offering technical support and solution selling
• Continuous business improvement. (Making sure it’s a pleasure to do business with the company)
• Resolution
• Monitoring of their paper trays and products in trade to ensure fit-for-purpose performance
• Submit visit feedback reports
