Acting as the main point of contact for guests in the field, you will deliver unforgettable safari experiences while maintaining operational excellence, fostering teamwork, and upholding the lodge’s vision and values.Key Responsibilities:Lead, manage, and mentor the guiding team to ensure exceptional field operationsSupervise walking safaris, game drives, and other wildlife experiences while maintaining safety and adherence to lodge protocolsUphold and enforce operational standards across all guiding activitiesMonitor team performance and provide constructive feedback and professional development opportunitiesInteract with guests professionally, ensuring a personalized and memorable safari experienceMaintain all guiding equipment and vehicles, ensuring they meet safety and operational standardsCollaborate with management to ensure seamless communication between lodge operations and field teamsPromote conservation, environmental education, and responsible tourism practices to guests and staffBuild and maintain strong relationships with local communities, suppliers, and contractorsEnsure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including firearm handling, permits, and wildlife regulations
