In addition, the Fleet Controller ensures:

• Accurate daily reporting (vehicle condition, mileage, fridge hours, uptime)
• Strict compliance with safety, legal, and quality standards
• Effective planning and scheduling of services and vehicle availability
• Control of fleet budgets, expenditure, and procurement processes
• Proper documentation, audits, and reporting accuracy
• Health & safety compliance across all fleet operations

The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented, deadline-driven, and technically skilled, with strong knowledge of heavy-duty vehicles, refrigeration systems, tail lifts, and fleet tracking systems. They must be assertive, reliable, and capable of performing under pressure while maintaining high operational standards.

Minimum Requirements:

• Grade 12
• Degree/Diploma in Logistics, Business Management, Transport, or Fleet Management
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar fleet management role
• Code EC driver’s license with valid PDP
• Strong technical knowledge of MAN and Mercedes vehicles, including maintenance and mechanical systems
• Proven experience in fleet operations, maintenance coordination, and transport compliance management
