Leads the whole engagement: owns the investigation methodology, plans and allocates the backlog, manages the multidisciplinary team, and is accountable to Eskom for quality and delivery. Reports to the Director / Eskom contract management.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop and own the overall investigation approach and methodology, aligned with industry professional standards, codes of conduct and the relevant laws.
- Develop and submit detailed investigation plans and allocate cases across the team to clear the backlog.
- Submit project and status reports and attend planned meetings with Eskom management.
- Review forensic reports for quality - sound conclusions, defensible recommendations, and readiness for civil and criminal proceedings.
- Oversee evidence-handling and chain-of-custody governance across all cases.
- Coordinate post-investigation support and consequence management with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure SDL&I and quarterly reporting obligations are met.
