- Plan, coordinate, and oversee all daily operations within the company.
- Ensure projects are scheduled, resourced, and executed according to timelines and client requirements.
- Monitor workflow efficiency and adjust plans where needed to meet deadlines.
- Allocate teams and equipment effectively across multiple projects.
- Support Floor / Technical Managers in planning, execution, and close-out of electrical projects.
- Monitor budgets, work progress, and project deliverables to ensure compliance with contract scope of work.
- Ensure all installations meet engineering specifications, SANS standards, and client expectations.
- Review and approve production reports, drawings, and handover documentation.
- Ensure company compliance with Health & Safety legislation and industry standards.
- Ensure adherence to ISO / Quality Management Systems (where applicable).
- Manage toolbox talks, incident reporting, and corrective action plans.
- Manage workforce planning, recruitment input and performance evaluations.
- Foster teamwork, professional conduct, and continuous improvement.
- Monitor production costs and operational expenses to ensure profitability.
- Assist with budget planning, cash-flow monitoring, and production costing.
- Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
- Prepare operational reports for management, including project status and workforce updates.
- Maintain accurate documentation, records, and file control.
- Implement and manage CRM, ERP, and job costing systems while ensuring production tracking data is accurately maintained and regularly updated.
- Support internal audits and provide relevant data when required.
- Forward rate of invoicing predictions
- Identify operational inefficiencies and implement process improvements.
- Contribute to company strategy, pricing models, and service offering development.
- Champion innovation, new technologies, and improved engineering methods.
- Drive systems automation improvements to enhance operational efficiency, streamline workflows, and improve data accuracy across business processes
