A well-established national healthcare and pharmaceutical services organization focused on delivering innovative pharmacy and healthcare solutions across South Africa, is currently seeking a Senior BI Project Coordinator to join its team in Umhlanga.

This role is ideal for an experienced project coordination professional with a strong background in Business Intelligence (BI), initiatives, stakeholder engagement, and cross-functional project delivery. The successful candidate will play a key role in coordinating BI projects, ensuring timelines are met, resources are effectively managed, and business objectives are achieved.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and oversee Business Intelligence projects from initiation through completion.
  • Monitor project timelines, milestones, budgets, and deliverables.
  • Collaborate with BI analysts, developers, business stakeholders, and management teams.
  • Facilitate project meetings and provide regular progress reports.
  • Track project risks, issues, and dependencies, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Assist with resource planning and project scheduling.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational project management standards and methodologies.
  • Support data reporting, dashboard implementation, and analytics initiatives.
  • Maintain project documentation and governance records.
  • Drive continuous improvement within BI project processes.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Information Systems, Business Management, Project Management, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum 4–6 years' experience in project coordination or project management.
  • Experience working within Business Intelligence, data analytics, reporting, or related environments.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies and best practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with project management tools and reporting platforms.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and organizational skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Project Management certification will be advantageous.
