Head Guide/ Tour Manager/ Safari Manager

Job Description:
The Head Guide is responsible for leading and supervising a team of guides to ensure the smooth operation of adventure tours and excursions. The role involves overseeing all aspects of tour planning, execution, and safety to provide an exceptional experience for guests.
Responsibilities:
1. Lead and coordinate a team of guides, including scheduling, training, and performance management.
2. Develop and maintain tour itineraries, ensuring they are engaging, informative, and safe.
3. Conduct pre-tour briefings and debriefings for guides to ensure proper tour execution and guest satisfaction.
4. Ensure the safety and well-being of guests and staff during tours, including emergency response and evacuation procedures.
5. Manage tour logistics, including transportation, equipment, and accommodations.
6. Provide exceptional customer service and address any guest concerns or issues during tours.
7. Develop relationships with local vendors, partners, and communities to enhance the guest experience.
8. Stay current on industry trends, safety guidelines, and best practices to continuously improve tour offerings.
9. Assist in marketing and promotion efforts to drive tour bookings and revenue.
10. Represent the company in a professional and positive manner at all times.
