Key responsibilities

Employee relations & welfare

  • Handles employees’ grievances, disciplinary issues and conflict resolution
  • Promote employee engagement and retention initiatives
  • Manage leave, attendance and welfare programs

Talent acquisition and employment

  • Develop and execute recruitment strategies
  • Manage job postings, CV screening, interviews, and selection processes
  • Conduct reference checks and prepare employment contracts
  • Coordinates new employee orientation and onboarding

Performance Management

  • Coordinate performance appraisal processes
  • Support goal setting and performance improvement plans
  • Recruit persons with the right attitude to deliver services to clients within and without working hours

Training and Development

  • Identify training needs and organize capacity building programs
  • Support carrier development succession planning

Compensation and benefits

  • Administer payroll in accordance to the Chief Executive officer’s pay structure
  • Manage other benefits including health insurance and other incentives

Compliance and administration

  • Ensure compliance with labour laws Act, 2003 (act 651) and other relevant laws
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR database
  • Prepare HR reports and statistics for management

HR policy Development

  • Review and update HR policies, procedures and employees handbook
