Key Responsibilities:
- Staff Management: Recruit, train, and supervise store employees; create schedules; monitor performance and productivity.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, resolving complaints, and ensuring a positive store experience.
- Sales and Profitability: Set and monitor sales goals; drive sales initiatives and promotions to increase revenue.
- Inventory Management: Manage stock levels, order new products, conduct regular inventory checks, and minimize stock shrinkage.
- Visual Merchandising: Ensure the store is visually appealing, organized, and complies with the company’s merchandising standards.
- Financial Management: Manage the store budget, handle cash transactions, track expenses, and submit financial reports.
- Health & Safety: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintain cleanliness and organization in all areas.
- Reporting: Prepare regular reports on store performance, employee progress, and inventory status.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree
- Experience: Proven experience as a Store or Shop Manager, or in a supervisory role within retail.
Skills:
- Strong leadership and organizational skills
- Excellent customer service and communication abilities
- Proficient in retail management software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Analytical mindset with good problem-solving skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
