Farm Manager of Fruit Farm

We have a position available for a farm manager on a fruit farm near Greyton. Only people with farming experience may apply.

1. At least 5 years experience in fruit farming.
2. Prefer candidates between the ages of 30 and 50 years.
3. You must be able to work indepently and must be very motivated.
4. You must be a strong leader to manage worker teams and have good communication skills.
5. You must be competent to work with a computer and to manage systems like Irricheck, Motorola Irrigation and MB4000 spray programme.
6. You must be capable in admin and record keeping of systems for GlobalGAP, SIZA and Tesco Nurture.
7. You must be able to compile an annual budget.
8. You must have extensive experience with spray programmes and calibrations.
9. You are responsible for running a portion of a tourism business on the farm.
