Responsibilities:

Supplier Discovery and Vendor Management:

  • Discover and onboard device suppliers locally and internationally
  • Build and maintain relationships with suppliers across global regions
  • Compare vendors based on pricing, quality, reliability, and turnaround time
  • Maintain supplier databases and procurement records

Procurement and Negotiation:

  • Negotiate pricing, payment terms, MOQ, warranties, and delivery timelines
  • Coordinate procurement activities for smartphones, accessories, spare parts, and related inventory
  • Ensure products meet TCPO quality and certification requirements
  • Reduce procurement costs while maintaining quality standards

Importation and Logistics Coordination:

  • Coordinate shipments with freight forwarders and logistics partners
  • Track shipments and ensure timely delivery
  • Assist with customs clearing and import documentation coordination
  • Resolve shipment delays and logistics-related operational issues

Supply Operations:

  • Monitor inventory movement and procurement needs
  • Coordinate with operations, sales, and finance teams
  • Support inventory forecasting and replenishment planning
  • Ensure smooth operational flow from supplier to warehouse

Reporting and Process Management:

  • Prepare procurement reports, pricing comparisons, and landed cost analyses
  • Maintain organised procurement and logistics documentation
  • Help improve procurement and supply chain processes over time


Requirements:

  • 2years of experience in procurement, supply chain, importation, logistics, vendor management, or related operational roles
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills
  • Strong organisational and follow-through ability
  • Ability to independently manage multiple moving parts
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment
  • Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills
  • Ability to work with suppliers across different countries and time zones
  • Experience in smartphone, electronics, or device-related procurement
  • Experience with importation into Nigeria
  • Existing supplier or logistics network is a strong advantage
  • Familiarity with Computer Village or electronics distribution ecosystems
  • Experience working with international suppliers is a major advantage
