Responsibilities:
Supplier Discovery and Vendor Management:
- Discover and onboard device suppliers locally and internationally
- Build and maintain relationships with suppliers across global regions
- Compare vendors based on pricing, quality, reliability, and turnaround time
- Maintain supplier databases and procurement records
Procurement and Negotiation:
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, MOQ, warranties, and delivery timelines
- Coordinate procurement activities for smartphones, accessories, spare parts, and related inventory
- Ensure products meet TCPO quality and certification requirements
- Reduce procurement costs while maintaining quality standards
Importation and Logistics Coordination:
- Coordinate shipments with freight forwarders and logistics partners
- Track shipments and ensure timely delivery
- Assist with customs clearing and import documentation coordination
- Resolve shipment delays and logistics-related operational issues
Supply Operations:
- Monitor inventory movement and procurement needs
- Coordinate with operations, sales, and finance teams
- Support inventory forecasting and replenishment planning
- Ensure smooth operational flow from supplier to warehouse
Reporting and Process Management:
- Prepare procurement reports, pricing comparisons, and landed cost analyses
- Maintain organised procurement and logistics documentation
- Help improve procurement and supply chain processes over time
Requirements:
- 2years of experience in procurement, supply chain, importation, logistics, vendor management, or related operational roles
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Strong organisational and follow-through ability
- Ability to independently manage multiple moving parts
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment
- Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills
- Ability to work with suppliers across different countries and time zones
- Experience in smartphone, electronics, or device-related procurement
- Experience with importation into Nigeria
- Existing supplier or logistics network is a strong advantage
- Familiarity with Computer Village or electronics distribution ecosystems
- Experience working with international suppliers is a major advantage
